"Hi Just looking for advice from people that have experience in this We had 2 dogs for 8 years...one died 2 yrs ago and the other one is going asleep later today I drive past The DSPCA going home every day ....whats the best thing to do for the family Get another dog straight away or leave a period of time in between to adjust Does a new dog help the heartache What works best in your experience " I'm dreading the day I have to go true that with my dog... sorry to hear that mate. My advice would be get a new pup straight away. | |||

"Thanks everyone It's done,all upset but the healing begins tomorrow " I'm sending big hugs and sooo much sympathy to you and your family OP...I had my dog for 16 1/2 years before she dies...took me 2 years to even be able to look at and stroke another dog...it will be 12 years this May and only now can I feel maybe I will get another dog one day. I really do feel your pain | |||
