Hi Dublin Swingers,

Any recommendations for the best and reliable (fast) health center to do STD/STI tests in and around Dublin area?

I regular do every 3 months but the place was going shutdown.

You can order a kit online, Google the sh24 test kit! They're really good, you just do the swabs/bloods at home, send them off, then they text you the results

Do a forum search for sti testing I had a thread about it recently. It's free service by HSE and turn around time is usually a week. You test at home and send off. Highly recommend great service.

You should do them for sure. I come from a high risk group.

Traditionally in Ireland the high risk groups were set in stone.

It was

Black men.

Gay men from abroad (i believe this includes trans like me)

Irish gay people with a dick.

Bi men and Gay women

then way down at the bottom

straight Irish people.

However for the first time, "Straight Irish" people are catching diseases at a faster pace than the others.

This implies that the number of people entering the country with HIV is down, but the number of people sleeping with people from abroad is going up. Also the number of people lying about being on prep is probably high.

I was born abroad, I am trans, I am high risk, today I will have men offer to suck my dick bare, for me to fuck them in the ass bare, for me to let their wives suck my dick bare and fuck them bare. So even if you try and avoid high risk scenarios it's likely you will end up being with one of the people who wants me bare etc.

Anyway, play safe.

I go to the clinic in Harolds cross ....very quick 120 euro

I tried the ones that get sent to you at home as mentioned above but to be honest I wouldn't be able to take that much blood for the test

In Limerick the HSE have a free sexual health clinic in UHL

Would Dublin hospital s not have similar

Before I knew about the hospital clinic, used a local private medical centre.

160 euro.

Have often wondered did the private practice just send all swab samples to the HSE, and charged people for no read other than greed

Just a not in the SH24 . Just order and .. it could take more than few days .. hope not .

I totally agree, the GP in question there is a gent too and has done full blood screens for me to check testosterone levels, cholesterol etc for free in addition to full STI screen. Very discreet too. Highly recommend.
