Forget all the dating apps. Does anyone actually miss dating? Getting ready, having to be somewhere at a certain time. Does anyone bother with dating?

I thought I did until I started again and I realised no, it is absolutely not for me. I love meeting people and hitting it off, but more spontaneously than arranging to meet

I miss going out and meeting people and from there planning something. Been years and years and yearsince I did. Dosnt have to be fancy, not gone on fancy, but getting to know someone, face to face. Those were the good ole days

I don't miss it at all tbh, hate .. absolutely hate having my life put into a " time frame " where you " have " to be somewhere and dressed like something you actually hate , gone way past all that , we will all pop our clogs , no doubt about that but while you can LIVE YOUR LIFE the exact way you WANT to , and Dating is not for me ,to be shot down by someone who thinks they are better than you ? No thanks , if it happens it'll happen spontaneously if it dont , hey ..big swing .

Like with everything, I miss the positives you get from dating but not the negatives. Enjoy dating apps for casual encounters but much prefer meeting someone in natural settings for anything more serious.

We still try to have a date night once a week. Even if we don't go out, or the kids are here. We'll get dressed up, put music on, open wine and cook dinner together. But going out for a meal is still great.

Think I would equate modern dating to traversing a minefield. Blindfolded. On a space hopper. And I’d rather do that to be honest

Love going on dates, that pre buzz just before you head off

Dating sites/apps that’s another story, having the same conversation over and over!!! it gets tiring!! Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong need to stop having the same conversation over and over

Dating and ”Coortin” is for young uns….. when you get to a certain age meeting a person of the opposite sex is more of an “appointment”…. Then, when you get there she spends more time checking her phone than having a right aul chin wag you feel like a right dick!! ??

It’s not just you CCC. I love a bit of romance but agree it’s seriously lacking. Now I’m very aware of the site I’m on and romance isn’t necessarily why people are here. I was just speaking generally.

A cynic might suggest that now that women are "giving it up" for free, men see no need to engage in the charade of romancing them in order to get into their knickers....

The longest I got regular chat without sex talk was a few days on the dating scene. So basically trying to sex chat before first date after I had specifically stated on my bio if it's just sex your after am hot interested. I gave the sites up a few years now because basically it's the same as here most just want sex. I love someone who can't entertain my brain (well what's left of it lol) not just my body.

I was just trying to think of the last time something like this happened and i actually cannot remember. I have done it but just to share a room no sex included. I haven't met someone click enough with yet. I couldn't just sleep with anyone.

It's all to do with the " click " , it is the site it is but the bottom line is if you don't " click " with someone then it's futile , why should a woman or a man meet someone and just have sex with them without having something in common , they can if they both want to just fuck , absolutely , there's nothing stopping them but some people want more and won't just give it up to anyone , it's an individual thing , fuck if you wanna fuck , if you want something more well then wait for the " click " .
