"Horrible news to wake up to. "

Read the news this morning, as well as being an incredibly talented drummer and singer he was a rock solid bandmate. He will be missed

My heart is broken. He was so much fun at their gigs and such an amazing talent.

I saw him play with his own band in the academy years ago by the way. A great performer then too.

A huge loss to music. One of the best drummers of our time. At times like these we learn to live again. Rip taylor

Not my favourite band but FFS! 50 only.

A real decent guy too, judging by tributes.

Gutted and shocked by his passing I feel so sorry for his family, his band mates and who ever it was who found him

Well, at least he lasted until he was in his fifties; the age of 27 used to be a particularly dangerous age for rock stars; for example Jimi Hendrix!

RIP, Taylor was a whopping Drummer, Colombia the best and worst place to party!

He left behind 3 children and a wife, so our thought are with them. Keanu Reves once said when asked, what happens when you die, his answers was " the people who loved you will miss you" RIP

Ed Smyth had a brilliant hour of a tribute to Taylor and the foos, well worth a listen back

Anyone into them who hasn’t seen their ‘Back and Forth’ documentary should watch it. Its class.

Such a tragic loss.
