Anyone squeamish better move on...and, no - I didn't commit a crime

My teen daughter left me with some beautiful dried in blood stains

. I usually don't mind too much but this is a lovely white garment...

Tried soaking, tried bicarbonate soda paste...to no avail

I read about hydrogen peroxide. Can that be purchased in a supermarket or the like? Does it actually work without leaving a visible stain?

Or does anybody have any other insights with dried in blood stains?

Or should I just bin said garment?

Salt and cold water soak. Then wash. If that doesn't work its for the bin

Left a white shirt in the wash this morning after a bloodstain in work.

Soaked it in cold water and sprayed vanish pre wash on it ...came out ok ....but just a normal shirt nothing fancy

I find direct sunlight is great for naturally bleaching out stains. Cold water as well so it doesn't set.

Agree with this but I leave it soaking for 2 weeks in cold, very salty water then rinse and pop in washing machine, should do the trick

Hot water denatures the proteins so the blood really sets in, big mistake.
