A town near you

I've always purchased my glasses from specsavers when I have an eye test.

I've heard a few people say they buy their glasses online, any recommendations!

When you buy online, how do you know what prescription to give them? Do you just get a test done in specsavers or somewhere like that and send on the results?

You get your prescription from whomever did the test and forward it onto whoever you're buying your new specs from

I've used zenni optical multiple times before so much cheaper especislly for anyone who needs lenses thinned out or wants reactions, really good costumer service too as my lenses have a big difference and every time I've ordered they've emailed to double check I put in correct details, get eye test done in regular opticians & just ask for the prescription and ask the to put down the PD on prescription then order, there could be customs charge but still works out a lot cheaper than buying from anywhere in irelsnd

I used zenni optical also. Last time I used them they had paused the delivery to ireland for some reason and I had to use UK delivery and address pal... but got through just fine.

I've no idea how they do it, but decent glasses with my exact prescription lenses for 9.99.

I got varifocals from there for my dad also and they were perfect too.

Can't fault them

Thanks guys will check these sites.

Both me and hubby had eye tests last week and both of our prescriptions have changed.

2 pairs of prescription glasses with all the extras such as anti glare and non scratch coating is expensive!
