Couples who want me to put on a show with the female half for the male half. Completely ignoring everything on my profile and then getting stroppy when I refuse.

Usually by having a couples profile where the nonexistent male half is above my filter.

My number two preference is that I'll only meet in my own time due to time and work constraints and that seems to upset some.

My personal irk is location.

We both have decided that travelling for a fab meet or having people travel to us raises expectations, so we don't like meeting anyone from far away (obviously meet and greets and such is different), but the amount of people straight up arguing with us about it is ridiculous.

Same thing happens to us only the other way around.

There's usually a woman in a couple who falls into our age preference, but a man is 10 years out of it and they still insist we are all compatible

When you block men from messaging you, that line pops up on your profile. It's when you might be looking for men but you've blocked them messaging you (because you want to make that first contact) that it can look confusing on a profile.
