So… how’d you convince yourself to go thru with that first meet… I mean I know I want to but the nerves have the potential to fuck it all up

oh god.. this was not too long ago for me!!! And all I can say is dont be d*unk or have anything that can impair your judgement, meet socially first, and make sure someone else knows who you are meeting and where you are going. My bestie made me turn on my find my iphone app LOL

Its a great feeling but its scary as hell too, keep in touch with the person do if say you've net them socially and now going to have fun together and have made the arrangements, check in that morning, of you travelling a bit let them know you on the road, they will probably be nervous too.

If your early dont start knocking the drink into you.

But most of all enjoy it

The other person might be nervous too, you're a guy , the other person may be a female so she might be nervous too , my advice would be just be yourself

It’s all part and parcel of it, start with a social meet and go with any expectations. Just 2 people meeting for a coffee or whatever. And just go with the flow.

“Afraid” is probably not the right word… it is only a social meet in a public place so not afraid as such.

Just a bit nervous & out of my comfort zone finally putting myself out there and taking the plunge & next step towards fulfilling a fantasy / life goal.

And thanks to all for response. I did particularly like the advice saying to visualise leaving & feeling great having face the fear & conquering it!!

Also quite conscious they are possibly going to see this thread… which is another useful kick in the arse for me to make sure I go thru with it

For me I’m like a duck paddling up stream, while all may appear relatively calm on the surface, underneath there can sometimes be a lot going on…..

It only becomes complicated when over think it OP. Just show up and see what happens. If there is a mutual attraction with this person, it will become apparent soon enough if not don't be afraid to walk away.

Also I wouldn't be fazed by anyone who has dozens of glowing verifications, as people on a swinging site just love to fuck.
