I'm not sure what mine should be. I realise that sounds ridiculous but here's the thing. Technically I'm married, however I'm not "with" my wife. Does that make me single? Attached doesn't quite fit either as it implies a "relationship". I have to interact with my wife every day as we have 3 young children and they are mainly in my care due to circumstances. Can anyone see where I'm coming from? I'm not as free as a single man as I still have responsibilities but I'm not quite as tied as a properly married man.

This looks even more confusing now I've read it back. Thoughts anyone

reword and summarize what you've written above and add to your profile. until you're divorced you're married irrespective of you're living arrangements ect - so married is correct.

I agree with you there but saying you are married will instantly put many members off. That said, I don't want to have false information on my profile or to lie to any potential friends I might make.

im seperated not yet divorced and dont consider myself married anymore therefor have single on my profile ur circumstances are differant because off ur lil ones , and living arrangements i agree just be honest if somebody is interested in nsa they will understand we all have lives outside fab world happy fabbing

Personally I would consider the OP as a single man with kids, or in other words a single male parent.

You may be technically married in the sense thats there's still a valid marriage license between you, but assuming that your not living with your ex, and your not having any sexual relations or other contact with her apart from that involving your kids (which would include for example financial contributions etc), then you are most definately single and would be considered so by most people.

On the other hand if you and your wife seperated 2 weeks ago, and your still coming to terms with it, then your not truely single until you get your head sorted.

Are you still living in the same house as your wife?

Are you still answerable to her as in where you are going and what/who you are doing?

I still have contact with my childrens father but i consider myself very separated as we live apart etc etc...

Honesty is always the best policy in these types of situation as in no point in saying you are single if you're not.. most people appreciate the truth
