Belfast

We all have come across some people who have crazy misconceptions of human anatomy.

What's the funniest ones you ever heard?

I'll start:

Clitoris isn't there for self pleasure, but for making babies

Newry Down

Sexual intercourse whilst standing is an effective contraceptive!

Coitus interruptus, sex without a condom and then pulling out immediately before cumming prevents conception. Lots of young catholic Irish couples have been caught by this one!

A woman is not a virgin if she uses tampons before her first sexual intercourse.

Young girls should only ride horses side saddle, otherwise the accidental breaking of their hymen means they are not technically virgins.

This is taken so seriously within some cultures that some women undergo costly restorative surgery before marriage.

Women who experience orgasm during sex are committing a sinful act!

And then there are loads of myths about FGM (female genital mutilation) and sex in some cultures that are beyond comprehension.
