"Hi all What are peoples feelings on insta huns, people with 30k plus followers (sometimes even more) and they sponging like hell and getting freebies left, right and centre. Personally I cannot stand them, minor celebs in their own heads. God love them. " If they're not doing any harm what's the problem. Some people are bitter AF about other people doing well for themselves

Can't relate lol If there was nobody interested in their uber filtered photos and pretend amazing life - they wouldn't be so popular to begin with. Missus

Young people, who are still growing and learning to love themselves are looking at them photos of impossible standards every single day and buy their shakes and protein bars and whatever else they're selling/promoting. There's people out there who feel like failures in life just because they don't look like them pristine filtered photos day in day out. And it's not right. But... it's consumer driven, so there will be no change. It's parents personal responsibility to keep their teenage kids as far from those people as possible or next thing you know you'll have a kid who thinks that they live in a YouTube video and life is just a series of insta posts. Rant over lol Missus

There's a growing body positive movement, there are those who make a positive impact on issues which youngsters relate to, those who speak out about injustice and inequality and in doing so help young people find their own voice.

" 100%, wasn't arguing at all, just looking at it from a different perspective. There are a lot of good ones too and you really see who you choose to follow. About the body positivity movement though - it has become quite toxic over last few years too. What starred off as a support group for all shapes and sizes have grown into a skinny and weight loss shaming group for everyone who dares to lose any weight for any reason. You cant bloody win Anything you say or do will most likely get criticised by someone anonymous online.
