I know its me again but just go with it.

Some days may seem tough but you never know what the person next to you is going through so remember to be kind.

"Ah, kindness. What a simple way to tell another struggling soul that there is love to be found in this world"

Good advice. It is my general view on things and more people need to follow it.

Thank you my day is grand, was just chatting a work colleague who had a bit of bad news. Working from home etc has cut a lot of communication between people

It is always good to try and be as nice as possible and always check in with friends you don't get to see so often

Some very unkind souls on this site. If they actually have souls that is. Fortunately, the Devine souls outnumber them.

Kindness, without an expectation of something in return,

is now so rare that when one acts in this fashion, frequently the recipients look at me as if there is something amiss.

We are inherently social, sociable beings whose (former) cooperativeness helped to develop our societies.

We need to unselfishly return to this type of altruistic generous kind behaviour which lies at the very core of our consciousness.

I got pulled on this here recently for suggesting people pay for an extra coffee when buying their coffee and the next person to the counter gets the coffee

nobody said it was easy,, on route to .

I tried my best, holding a revolving door at Next open for a lady laden with, which I suspected was return goods only to be greeted by a sudden thump of a customer on the opposite end walking into the glass

What can you do only apologise

That's a really nice kind gesture, which may be passed on and multiply!

A young woman, in need of assistance, recently approached and asked for directions; I immediately knew she needed more expert advice on an issue and I then went to extraordinary lengths to ensure she got the expert help to solve her problem.

It cost me a few quid and several hours of intensive work to produce a solution

She does not know my name, and when I recently caught her eye, she looked a bit puzzled (why a total stranger would have gone to so much trouble).

It gave me a nice warm feeling inside; an act of kindness that gave me a great 'kick'!

There's little more to the story than the above, but kindness was the critical issue.

Reminds me of when I was younger* people would ask me form directions and I'd purposely give them wrong ones.

*Last week.
