"My parents are married 50yrs today and recently my dad found a wedding gift of 6 silver teaspoons in a wooden display case they had gotten. He got each of the six grandkids names on the back of the spoons and gave it to my mum.... ![]() Gorgeous story...hope they have many more years together | |||

What's this then " They keep a spoon in their top pocket to save time if a customer drops one they have a replacement and pick up another when they get back to the kitchen. It's a great time saving tip. They also have a piece of string hanging from their fly to save hand washing time when they pop to the loo. They just use the string to pull the little lad out and hold him steady. When they've finished and need to tuck him away again without using their hands...... they always carry a spoon in their top pocket. ![]() | |||
