Discretion to us means that person is married/attached and is looking for side action without their partner knowing. Each to their own, but that's not for us as we've both been cheated on in the past.

But to answer your question, no. We dont talk to anyone about Fab except 1 couple we are friends with also on Fab.

Discretion to me means not ever repeating anything told to me in confidence at all. It means that what someone else does is not mine to broadcast. Pictures should never be used without express consent of everyone in it whether easily identifiable or not.

It doesn’t mean that I’m playing away without permission as has been said by another poster, it means that I am married and we both play but we do not want it getting back to our children or other relatives.

Discretion definition:

"behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offence or revealing confidential information"

Are you saying that you automatically assume that when discretion is mentioned on a profile that the owner of the profile is cheating on a partner?

I would find that very presumptuous, if so. It's like assuming that any single who "can't accommodate" is cheating when they might well be living with housemates, parents etc and actually like to keep this part of their lives private.

We value our privacy, nothing more sinister than that (hence we mention discretion on our profile) and expect the same in return of people we are in contact with...be that on Fab or in the outside world .

I always will tell 1 person who I am meeting, where I am going. I will also show them a photo of the person. Its a person I trust and know it will go no further but my safety is paramount they will also expect a phone call or text off me during the time I'm with that person so they know I'm safe.

Or as is often the case , discretion can mean exactly that , in that you dont want it widely known your on an adult sex site and possibly meeting strangers for sex while holding a responsible and possibly sensitive job, for instance i know a teacher a cop a couselor and a few nurses on here who insist on discretion, btw there all single and most are female

Fabs is a small world so discretion means to avoid disclosing anything what has not been agreed upon or displaying into a public verification.

My job colleagues could be in fabs and I don’t want them to have further information about my adventures for instance.
