Cork

I'd imagine some people would want to avoid meeting any of their neighbors on her (bar that one guy) but how local is too local?

Doesn’t bother me as long as the person isn’t psycho.

More local the better.

We don't like long distances- it puts expectations in people's heads

Being local isn't the issue; after a social meet to determine whether we click, that there is interest alround, and that everyone is seeking discretion are the real issues.

Being local means if everyone is happy after we have played there will be the potential of repeat meets, discreetly of course!

Preferably not in the same area as us because unfortunately we live in an area full of gossips and that's one thing we detest

Somewhere in Co. Down

I must be the odd one out but I have zero interest in meeting anyone who is living within my direct locality. Maybe it's because I live in the countryside and not in a town or city, that might change how I would view it.

How we see it too, rural Ireland is a hotbed of gossip because an awful lot of people use it as a currency to make themselves appear more interesting.

Localish is fine, probably even convenient however I wouldn't want the people in my area gossiping.

I couldn't care less what people think i like meeting locals. Whilst they are talking about people they are leaving others alone, who likes gossips anyway. If i was to live my life the whole time thinking what do others think god i be living under a shell for the rest of my days or feeling guilt and remorseful for having fun. Everyone to their own but convenience works well for me.

It's got nothing to to with guilt, everything to do with a vulnerable teenage daughter who would undoubtedly be the target of bullying if our private life were up for public discussion.

Half hour driving sounds about right to us too.

I totally understand and rightly so but that's why i said everyone to their own way of thinking and living.

I just think that there's still so much shame around being sexy as if it's wrong. Kids today are bullied for far less and it's usually personal to the kid themselves but yeah i totally understand the prevention side. Although it's hard to prevent bullying these days it's happening as adults in work places aswells. It's just something that when it happens one must just guide their kids how to deal with it in the correct manner.

So I'm In Sligo since a little after first lockdown.

Besides a few Fwbs I've met barely anyone through Fab. I just feel it's far less private and to many people would know my business.

Moving back to Dublin soon where I'll be a lot more comfortable, definitely looking forward to a few socials and such.

We think anything inside a half hour drive is to close. We like to keep the kinky side of our life our business. Also adds to the excitement.

The funny thing about this is one can turn up at a swing party and actually end up meeting either a neighbour, family member, friends, teachers, colleagues etc. So I think life is to short to worrying.
