But I think (but not sure) to save images without consent is against the law. It's definitely a crime to share them.

It's not a crime to save an image that you viewed legally. Sharing might be a crime though depending on what you do exactly.

Either way, is not possible to protect an image from being copied and also have anyone able to see it.

Ah ye. I left out the big c.

Can be downloaded or shared with consent which I think most sites have it tucked away in the small print of their terms and conditions.

But you're spot on there's no way of stopping an image from being copied from most websites.
