This happened me first thing smorning. Its just a random shooty up your arse pain. Stops you in your tracks. Lasts for about 2 seconds. Any oter guys get shooty arse pain?

No but as I am 5 foot 6 I get shorty ass pain. Not being able to reach things, several police forces internationally excluding me , and some women refusing to Meet on height grounds

I'm not a man but I've often had them. It's a muscle spasm and it's quite common for women to have them around the time of their period, although men get them too (muscle spasms, not periods obvs)

If the shooting pain you are experiencing from is right the centre of your buttock, then it's could be Piriformis syndrome. is an uncommon neuromuscular disorder that is caused when the piriformis muscle compresses the sciatic nerve. The piriformis muscle is a flat, band-like muscle located in the buttocks near the top of the hip joint. Either way a visit to your GP surgery would be advisable.

Quite common during periods. I don't get them anymore but still get the stabby arse pain.

Delightful when you're walking down the street and it feels like Edward Scissorhands is getting handsy.
