I wasn't allowed have any posters up either because my mother said they would ruin the wallpaper

years later helping my dad remove the wallpaper in the boxroom I realised every wallpaper was still on the wall as he used to put new wallpaper over the old ....the memories from lying in my bed looking at the wall going asleep

. I don't think I had any posters up. But then, apart from being a Chris de Burgh fan ( I know

), I wasn't overly bothered with music or the movies.

I remember having photos on the wall, which I would have taken... family, pets and landscape... and some of those photos stayed on the wall for years and years, even after my dad moved his office into that particular room
