So loved the first season.

Just ok the second

Loved the third.

But confused on the final scene where he walks away with his dog.

Did he go away to live a life alone with his dog . Until they both died.

Or did he use the last of his money and travel.

Or did he finally kill himself.

I definitely don't think he killed himself..think it was just meant to show they were reunited eventually

But what would I know ..the tears were rolling at that stage ..couldn't see properly

Think it signified that he was finally at peace and had come to terms with the grieving process.

I don't think he would kill himself cos the dog has kept him going.

This season definitely more depressing than the others but glad we watched it. It's not something we would ever have thought about so at least it opened up that conversation.

What i took from it is that he was finally more content with his life, wasn't suicidal anymore and was eventually reunited with Lisa. I was in floods too

Was just the look his friend gave him when he was walking away with his dog at the end.

His wife disappeared.

Then the dog , them him

was a tear jerker.....brilliant series.... i think the end was definetly left ambiguous so you could interpret as you wanted. My thinking was that we all move on eventually.....and to enjoy every day as if its going to be your last. I dont think it was meant to signify he took his own life...he seemed v content to live
