Where you long for one of those chats with an old friend or someone new.. a total distraction from the real world..

As an introvert, the work from home stuff sorta works well for me. But it has limits.. I long for some of my old routines.. I need some new ones!

I ramble. Just a reminder to all that the January blues are real for many. Reach out to someone who might need that chat.. or indeed for yourself!

My best friend is very similar. He’s an introvert. He lives alone and works from home. I think he realised it was genuibely affecting his mental health.

So he got a part time job in a huge kitchen supply shop!!! Just a few evenings a week and the occasional Saturday or Sunday. It wasn’t for the money but he got a healthy discount. He LOVED it. He got out and about and met new people. Even scored a few dates. It did him the world of good.

Unforch after a few years the shop shut down but he’s actively looking for something else now.

Would you consider that?

I last worked in an office in March 2020!

I've since changed job!

It is that randomness I need to schedule.

Thanks! For sure i would like figure out my other responsibilities to make time for some voluntary work with people!

BTW. As I reread my post maybe it sounds overly dramatic. I know some folks would know me as sometimes extraverted.

I intended as more a general reminder for all..
