I was feeling a bit down a few days ago , it was freezing , and wet outside. So, i passed by a barbers, no queue. One of lifes pleasures is getting my haircut, so sat inside, warm, cosy, no chat,. And then i had a thought,..should i ask, for the first time in my life "could you do something with the beard? ". So, i did, and he did. Such a pleasure, different blades for different parts, shaped, oiled,.. Bay rum?... Ill hang on to it for another month.

I’ve had the beard for years and don’t think I’d recognize myself if I shaved it off

Like to keep it short and neat though. Doesn’t look good if it’s out of control. Really miss getting a proper trim in the barbers though. Not the same doing it yourself.

What's Bay Rum?

Currently sporting a goatee since Movember. Can't do full beard as the itching drove me mad when I tried.

I do shave a few millimetres around the lips though as hairs in mouth are only acceptable when sipping a furry cup

Wasn’t really a big fan of beards however due to a bit of laziness during lockdown J decided to grow one . I don’t think I would let him shave it now . Just love it especially when professionally groomed

the smell is an instant turn on .
