Funny, I didn't notice them in my local grocery store and I saw a post before New year's Day that they've been spotted on the shelves... maybe a tad early...so there's hope yet...I won't go into panic mode, yet, I'm supposed to be off the shop bought junk now

The first year Mondelez changed the recipe customers were returning them by the box load thinking they had come from a bad batch.

Simple sales ploy.

Coleman's did it with Salad Cream about 5 years ago. Told everyone it was stopping it, sales went through the roof.

Though I think there's a market for a Giant Cream Easter Egg supplied with a golden spoon.

I noticed that this year. The shops have stuff leftover whereas usually they are cleaned out of "Christmas stuff" by new years.

Independent traders can't compete with the supermarkets selling seasonal goods as loss leaders.

It's got so bad now that wholesalers are actually bulk buying from the likes of Tesco so they can fulfill their own orders.

Lidl and Aldi limit the number of each product a customer can buy but warehouse staff are regularly being sent into Tesco and Asda to buy 100+ tubs of Roses etc.

A couple of years ago I took 3 staff with me and we bought 500 tubs across 4 stores at 50p a tub less than we could buy them directly from the manufacturer.
