Since it’s almost the weekend and the first week back to school, what are you looking forward to drinking when you put the feet up for the weekend?

Dublin

I have some bottles of Heineken and West Coast Cooler left from having bought them in December.

I think I drank 2 small bottles of West Coast cooler with Christmas dinner.

God knows if and when the rest will be drank because I'm really not all that bothered with alcohol, in or out (I'm a boring ol' dry shite ).

Coffee, water with dilute, the very occasional soft drink or cup of Earl Grey for me.

Soooo boring, I know

Most of the time at home I drink iced water.

If I want beer I drink Chieftan from Franciscan Well

If I want whiskey I drink Green Spot.

Espresso in the morning to wake up

And a glass of Malbec , Rioja or Pinot Noir just because I don’t like the huge volumes of drinking several pints and they’re my favourite wines

Still considering a dry January after all the festive season (way too much food and drinks)

But if I d have a drink after the week of work it would be

- champagne is something I always have in the fridge and should have at least once a month; alternatively a Prosecco spritz

- nice wines, preferably red, nice burgundy or a 10yrs+ Bordeaux

- and for after dinner, a nice whisky or some schnapps

Even at the home of the black stuff they dream of a white one.

It's finally arrived and not taking time to come down.

I appreciate that I'm supposed to mention a brand of alcoholic drink; but I don't drink, for several reasons.

My favourite drink, at present, is Kefir.
