Praise, for a change!

This post may disappear shortly but I hear so much negative stuff and Covid, our politicians, our banks, the health service.

Let’s post some positive things about our country.

I’ll start! Social welfare payments in general are decent. I’m not against high social welfare as most of it spent and recirculated in the economy.

Disagree social welfare ie: unemployment benefit is relied on way to much in this country it should be a stepping stone to get a job.

Positives we are a very generous community when it comes to supporting charities and raising money

Ok, I had to use our health service a few years ago and had to go public. I still get yearly checkups and I found my experience excellent.

The motorway system is amazing compared to when I started driving in the 80's

Good facilities on most of them compared to having a piss against a bush on the old N7
