So I know a lot are doing new year new me (I'm not)

But how about we share some tips on health and wellbeing.

My acupuncturist told me to place a hot water bottle against my lower back in the kidney region to help with lowering blood pressure and calm anxiety.

When squatting make sure your knees do not pass your toes... sit back.

Physio told me that years of bad squats could destroy ligaments. lol

If you don't mind, I could also suggest everyone to do a search on internet regarding the removal of pubic hair.

i travel all over

For poor sleepers

2-3 cups of caffeinated drinks per day only

Latest by lunchtime

Active day , then signal to your body that you’re slowing down from 8-9pm

Only use your bed for sleeping (and sex)

No horror or action TV after 8-9 pm

If you don’t sleep after a while go back to living room then come back when tired

Darken the room

Squeeze a lemon or lime into some water, add chia seeds and let's them soak for a few mins.

It's called Iskiate and it's a slow release of energy drink rather than the caffeine highs and lows

Make sure to do something fun (however small) each day.

Don’t be cheap on footwear or mattresses, you spend most of your life in them.

Get out into nature as much as possible.

Stop comparing yourself to others.

Talk or write about things that get you down. Reach out to those around you -trust me, they will be delighted you did.

Laugh each day - stand up, funny vids, whatever as long as it makes you laugh.

Exercise is medicine for both body and soul. Just 30mins a day will make a massive impact on your life.

My grandfather gave me some sound advice on his deathbed.

He said " it's always worthwhile investing some money in good speakers"

I love my essential oils, either for a nice relaxing bath or in my diffuser. So many different scents with so many different therapeutic effects, or just purely for relaxation. Nothing like an aromatherapy massage either!

South Side.

Treat yourself once a month.

Have a massage,

Exercise every day,

Stay off to much booze,

Read the obituaries, be grateful your not in them.

Don't 'diet'.....follow solid nutritional advice and you will be healthy and never hungry.

Learn how to cook. Home economics should be mandatory for all 2nd level students in my opinion.

Don't kill yerself going too hard also. If you train too hard you may struggle for motivation as you will really not be looking forward to it. It's a marathon and not a sprint. Aim for 70% of your max out.

It's nigh on impossible to Squat properly without your knees passing your toes... you should have given that physio a wedgie

Newry Down

As in many aspects of life, piecemeal solutions cobbled together from random unproven anecdotes are rarely going to provide a viable longterm solution for you.

Work out a comprehensive integrated package from the best evidence that suits your personality.

There's lots of very high quality online material available; read, plan and implement. Ignore tittle tattle.
