It doesnt really have a negative effect that i dont have published verications

Often i will cam chat with a new meet before the actual meet. I explain why i don't wanna be verified and move on.

I often get messages saying they like what they see but would prefer if i was verified. I generally turn it around when they realise im pretty sound

I get why people like to see published ones but I agree that they shouldn't turn away from people who don't publish them.

The only real experience I have with people who are unverified is that they turn up for tea bc they want to be verified. So its been positive for me.

Our experience is that out of five arranged social meets with unverified couple profiles, only two turned up. For verified couples, it’s more like a rate of 9 out of 10 turn up. Admittedly small sample rate for the unverified but still a massive disparity in our experience.

There are trust reasons and parity of risk when it comes to discretion that make verifications very important to us also.

We've had a couple of good meets with unverified people but have also experienced unverified people not turning up as well, so it's about 50/50 for us

I've had unverified people contact my friends and stir shit.

I've had verified people contact my friends and stir shit.

I've had well verified people contact my friends and befriend them so they can check out the competition or tag them in forum posts and pretend they are besties and boost their own standing.

A green tick doesn't come with a quality assurance certificate.

I’ve met plenty of unverified guys for socials. No major bad experiences but I do tend to chat to them a good bit before arranging to meet.

My worst fab experience was with a guy who was very well verified so in all honesty, veris prove nothing.

Verifications are imo useless.. Fab must be the only meet site that uses them and tbh its not good as it puts a newcomer on the backfoot immediately.. It quickly creates a clique mentality and many profiles here state they will only meet verified members.. Well verified will just as easily let you down as non verified so whats the point..

Ive met a few unverified people over the year's and turned out to be a good experience but id interacted and chatted a while before we did meet,one in particular is still a very good friend and have met since and hopefully will again soon......
