Didn't see it but heard it was dreadful performance.. Seems to be a dark depressing cloud over man utd.. Luke shaws interview yesterday was like listening to a man on death row.. It was so depressing.. I'd say rangnick is glad he's in that job for 6 months.. Easy exit for him.. They need to get rid of every player and start from scratch again..

There’s been a clear out every year for the last 8 years. Always the players or managers fault. Can’t blame the owners as they have spent a billion pound since Ferguson left

No same players this past 8 years.. Martial.. Rashford.. Shaw

. Maguire.. Pogba.. Greenwood.. Fred.. All shite even the newer players are desperate wan bissaka.. Matic is recent enough.. They obviously love wasting money on bad players.. I'd nearly do a better job myself..

United rode the crest of a wave when no other team had the money or decent manager. Ferguson was the big fish in the small pond but could never do it with the big clubs in the CL. Simply weren’t good enough. Think of PSG… winning the French league but lacking the quality in the CL

Mkhitaryn, Sanchez, Darmian, Blind, Rojo, Schneiderlin, do you want me to continue?

The rot at man utd started when Ronaldo left all those years ago.. A few years before Ferguson retired they were found out badly in the champions league.. Mediocre footballers who after the hairdryer treatment suddenly became World beaters.. Fergie knew they were finished thats why he jumped ship..

United are a team of individual's. Unlike Chelsea City and liverpool we liverpool. They are a long long was off even breaking into the top four at this stage. I personally think the Ronaldo signing was more a commercial signing.

Exact same thing happened Liverpool back in the 80s used to winning all the time but suddenly stopped winning for 25 odd years. Must have been tough watching United win and win and win. Also in relation to the flops United have signed (agreed there has been quite a few)… can we go through the Liverpool flops of the last 15 years…

Yes but you or I were too young to remember… lol were you even born ? You grew up watching United winning titles then when you hit 20 bang that’s it lights out must be very tough.

Please do and we can then move on to their best buys, Suarez, Coutinho all bought cheap and sold on at huge price tags. When was the last time that happened United ? Ronaldo to Madrid? They buy players and sell at a loss… Lukaku, Di Maria, Memphis

I like this game

Di Maria was bought for something like 58 and sold for 45ish. There was no loss there when you consider the money a new signing brings to the club

Lukaku was bought for 75 and sold for the same.. so no loss made

United have literally made over 500 million on match day revenue alone in the last 5 years, you can’t honestly begin to think a loss of 13 million on a transfer means anything to the club? Likewise I hope you aren’t in finance.

The signing of new players keeps those numbers higher.. increases shirt sales, increases the amount of people watching to see new big name players. Did you see the amount of money Ibra brought in in shirt sales?

Can’t imagine Aquilani or Dossena had the same effect

Certainly not but a billion pound in 9 years is a massive amount of money add on Uniteds wage bill, higher than any other club
