Ok guys thinking of getting the snip done, I've read about the non needle method that clinic's around Dublin offer.. Anyone else had this done? Any 'reviews' or opinions on it..

The easiest operation I ever had to be honest

I too have also been circumcised and its nothing compared to that

A few hours of pain afterwards that painkillers sort out

I had to have 30 minutes councilling beforehand to prove I understood I couldn't have more kids and then the op immediately afterwards

Local anaesthetic and having a cup of tea 10 mins later

A couple of things to watch out for thats not normally mentioned

There's a definite smell of burning when the cauterise the tubes

The first time you wank and cum afterwards there will be blood in it....I didn't know this and nearly fainted in the shower

You get a cool letter when you supply your two clear samples that you're officially a jaffa

Had it when I turned 40. (I felt with 3 kids I had done my bit for the population)

-10 minutes.

-In the clinic above the Circle K in Clane.

-In for a breakfast roll after

Two pairs of briefs for a couple of days then to keep everything nice & snug.

(Didn't have any of the adverse affects described above, luckily)

Clinic just beside kildare street in and out in 15 mins. Little uncomfortable for a couple of days but no real pain. Test after a few months to confirm that it has worked. No burning no stitches and only a couple of clips left behind.

Can give you the details if you want to PM me. The guy has clinic in several places and that is all he does so you in good hands.

I had it done after my third child was born. No bother at all, the doctor and me were taking about rugby the whole way through. I did turn my head at one stage and saw about an inch of tube that he had cut out of me!!

Drove home after, was grand after a few days.

Trying to aim my load into the sample bottle a few weeks later was awkward

It’s a fairly rare occurrence to have blood in your cum after a vasectomy, you were an unlucky one, (unless you were also fiddling with your prostate while you were in the shower . )

I was on a drug called Sulfasalazine for a while, that makes the whites of your eyes, urine and cum luminous yellow for the first couple of weeks, bizarre to see.

Counselling very important. It's a big decision for the little guy.

But loads of benefits. You can call yourself a VP, can have a Vasectomy Party, and can keep the cert in your wallet in case of emergencies!

I think your talking about the non-scalpel method?

Anyway, it's a great job, it's liberating! Got it done four years ago. Literally takes a few minutes, while chatting away to the doctor! Bit of discomfort for a few days,no pain and no side-effects. Highly recommend!
