Why do people think it's about a change in power dynamic?

How do you even know if there's a change in power dynamic involved for 2 people who may occasionally or regularly engage in the woman using a strap-on on a man?

Just because a man likes to have his ass played with or penetrated doesn't mean he's changing anything in the power or position he's previously held. He's simply engaging in a different sexual act to receive and give pleasure - the same as when a woman is penetrated by a man to give and receive pleasure.

What is it that makes people think that penetrating someone makes you more or less powerful or dominant than the person being penetrated?!

I suspect that purchasing strapons is similar to many other things in life: you get what you pay for.

Some appear to be very badly designed, and would cause chafing very rapidly.

I think this site has an association with Lovehoney, whose strapons receive good reports.

From experience, I think it is important that the strapon adheres to the female pubic bone (mons) in order that the user can build up a good rhythm.

Cheaper strapons are usually too loosely fitting and are often poorly manufactured, in China; penetration is OK, but smooth retraction is problematic.

I suspect there are several retail outlets for strapons in major UK cities, where you could get your hands on these products and determine their quality, design and fit; but here in Ireland may be more difficult.

Pegging is an interesting experience, particularly by a woman who is skilled!

This has been my experience and I've never bothered trying it again until the want for it has crept back in.

Thigh traps are pretty popular & i imagine the control would be greater but thats not the look I want.
