Planning on watching some movies over the next week but we spend ages researching them. Can you recommend a few good ones please?

We enjoyed 'The Unforgiveable', gripping and kept us interested.

We didn't enjoy 'The Power of the Dog', found the second half really slow and lost interest. May revisit though

Unforgivable looks good, The Truman Show is heartbreaking.

The opening scene of Love Actually started playing while I was looking there. That makes my little black heart weep. The guy that looks like he can breathe again now that she's back & the hand in the hair gets me everytime

I watched The Lighthouse last night.

Very atmospheric with shades of horror about it.

Robert Pattison and Willem Dafoe.

Don’t watch out of death with Bruce Willis such a bad movie!

Like a low budget movie, filming, story line, the dialogue, special effects… everything was horrible… and we still watched it to the end… disbelieving the way you can get when a movie is that bad!!!

The Iron Giant. My favorite animated film. It's charming and very funny. Brad Bird directed it who went on to direct Pixar classics (Ratatouille, Incredibles) and the Mission Impossible films.

I watched don't look up last night. It's a comedy saitre. I've read a lot of reviews after it, from reading the reviews you get the imprest that people were expecting this movie to single handedly shift the world's attitude to climate change.

It's a comedy saitre. For me it did it's job, which was to keep me entertained for just over 2 hours.

We watched ‘Unforgivable’ recently and it was incredible, so good!

Last night we turned our attention to ‘Don’t look up’, didn’t really know what to make of it at the start then as you realise that it’s a satirical dig at the Trump Presidency/Administration then we enjoyed it even more, definitely worth a view

I've sat through some tripe in my time simply because once I start something I'll see it out to the end so I can honestly say I watched it no matter how bad.

That includes shite like Normal People and a few recent movies.

The only things I've ever turned off part way through were 365 days after half an hour, Sex life after the first episode and Squid Games after 20 mins.

Difficult to say which was the worst.
