Mr was born on the Christmas Eve so it is usually a busy day in our house with Christmas eve family dinner plus his B-Day.

I never leave the house on Xmas eve.

I start off with a fry up, a Christmas movie and we usually throw a variety of nibbles in the oven for dinner, chicken wings, sausage rolls, ribs, gougans etc. Then we prepare for the madness that will follow the following day

Everything is done. So just the ham to be cooked later and let it settle for tomorrow.

Visit family for a social.... sorry...I mean a drink (old habits etc) and have an early night.

Sausage rolls is a nice idea!

Our thing is we spend every Christmas eve in a nice and steamy bath with candles and wine . It usually ends up with her doggy style hanging over the end of the bath facing a big mirror . We always sleep great after and are ready for santa to cum the next morning .

Dress up as Santa

Brother collects me around 2am and go delivering some hampers and presents to people who have nobody else and alone for Christmas

It means so much to them to know they haven’t been forgotten in the big world .

We fund it ourselves and as his wife is a local community nurse she knows who best to drop off to as she would visit them regularly .

She does be telling us that they tell her there’s a secret Santa and they are baffled as to who it is . She just smiles and says your not forgotten and your not alone. Someone is thinking about you .

Fairly quiet affair

Started a little different this year as I had to have an operation last week… got up early and hubby brought to doc to get my stitches out and since I can’t do anything kids got up to and hoovered and dusted the place for when I came home.

Rest pretty much as usual except they did everything and I did nothing… watched Christmas movie together this afternoon and a few nibbles tonight with mulled wine and a show on outtakes and you’ve been framed type of videos…

Time with family is so precious

Merry Christmas all

As the facility that I use almost every day will be closed over the Christmas period for five days, I used it to the max over the last two weeks, and thus needed Christmas eve, in bed, to rest, recuperate and recover!
