I'm doing the Xmas shopping today and it's completely different to my normal grocery shop, what's your bits you only buy at Xmas?

To name a few...

Glaze for the Ham

Double Cream

Cranberry Sauce

A Selection of Cheese

Brussels Sprouts

Radishes

Mulled Wine

A Yankee Cinnamon Candle

That cranberry sauce is a big waste isn't it....only time I ever buy it and it goes in the first bin of the new year

Unless there's a gathering in the house during the year then it's the only time we buy smoked Salmon

I got the Ballymaloe Cranberry sauce last year, thought it was a bit dry, and we are the same with the Salmon.

Nothing from Ballymaloe would come into the house after what the owner got done for ...sorry side issue

It's similar to Mexico, where money can solve your problems, a lot of weird shit went on in that place, imagine all we don't know about

Kids are doing the food shop so it's entirely up to them, hopefully not just pizzas and multipacks of crisps

Baileys.

Someone said that Baileys & Black Bush is lovely so I'm opening the bottle tonight instead of waiting for Christmas day

Ah they have eclectic food tastes, especially when I'm picking up the bill, I'm fairly confident some of it will be edible and nutritious!
