For me it's gotta be Max. Very deserving, full of grit and passion. He who dares....

Right so I have followed Lewis from f2

I reckon they both deserve it to be honest for a few reasons and itstbeen the best fight in a long time

I do think Lewis might pull something out of the bag but max will be the future and I won't be devastated if he wins

at least for the next year or so while George gets up to speed

Rubbish. Verstappen is the closest we've seen to Senna in terms of being a drivers driver.

Anything to see Toto lose it again, and see Lewis on another sulk.

Time for a new champ

Max making wrong choice with tyres, and Hamilton way happier to have Max in front where he can see him, rather than wait for the inevitable "accident"

Don’t see the point in f1, much prefer moto Gp as all f1 is about reliability, very little overtaking so if you’ve a fast car and a good engine the race can be won in qualifying .

But I’ll go for max as I can’t stand Lewis

As much as I hate to say it I think Lewis will win cos he’s been here before and knows how to win. He’ll wind up Verstappen and stupidly Max will bite. Hamilton is a prick. I used to like him but he’s really getting a pompous prick now.

Well I think we saw from George Russell almost winning a race when replacing Hamilton last year that it’s now 99% dependent on the car.

I think Max was totally ‘wound up’ last week by Mercedes especially on the restarts and the 10 car lengths so I’d worry that having Hamilton behind him - not in front - will be extremely difficult for him over a full race with so much at stake

Naas which is South West of Dublin

Strategy didn’t work out for Mercedes but very surprised they didn’t pit when they had the opportunities.

More to follow no doubt.

I not into f1 but how come if the safety car comes out, the person behind can get back into the race?

So if your winning by say 50 seconds and the safety car comes out on the second last lap....the last lap is starting again at more or less evens....but unfair isn't it.. Stupid rules

Under a virtual safety the gap shouldn't close. Under actual safety car the leader controls the restart, that's the advantage. Some racers are better than others at restarts. Happens in all car racing disciplines, check out nascsr and indy, where restarts are numerous

Building up a time gap no advantage really...

Not a Hamilton fan but he is an unreal driver much prefer Max's gung-ho approach which sometimes is over the top like last weekend, delighted Merc got screwed they had 2 opportunities to pit for new tyres but didn't. Can't stand Toto Wolf and his constant crying to the officials. Can't wait for next season
