I’m off work for Christmas Day this year. I’ll be spending my full day at home relaxing with my family. It will be lovely to not miss anything.

I’m off Christmas Day and Stephens day this year. First time in 24 years getting both days off, I’m usually working one or the other. Or both. The days will be with family and then home in the evenings to relax. After the appropriate amount of overeating

Away from normal routine over Christmas; relax, watch It's a wonderful life! And The Snowman and catch up on some household chores.

It's a great time for children!

It's just like any other day and it be anything you want it to be.. Don't fall into a trap thinking it should be the stereotypical Christmas surrounded by close family with all the commercialised trappings that goes with it..

Meath / Dublin / Birmingham

Down to the parents' place I'll be. It's the one time of year guaranteed that nobody has any work or other commitments, and I absolutely cherish it. We'll all relax for the day and as the hours go by we'll be full to the gills on beer and whiskey... it'll be top notch.

Meet up with the daughter Christmas morning with her presents & a chat. Out of Santa this year.

With family, all my side, so about 15 of us and everyone brings their dogs too, so that adds to the fun.

If I was spending it alone, I'd still do turkey and ham for myself and have a special meal, plus loads of leftovers for meals for the next week or two
