Done a good job under very difficult circumstances.

Hes and a few mistakes but he has tried his best to balance the health and welfare of the NHS employees and public welfare.

Don't think anyone could ever get his job right under the circumstances (most didn't pre covid) and his efforts are to be commended even if you Dont agree with everything he has done.

Couldn't pay me enough to do that job atm for a week never mind 18 months

City Centre, Dublin

Minister of Health was a hospital pass as it was before Covid hit.

No govt and no ministerial decisions for 3 years had left the health service in tatters and then Covid hit.

He did his absolute best under extremely difficult circumstances, you could physically see the strain that the job was placing on him

I've met him a few times through work. I'm glad he has been the minister for health during the last 18 months and not some of his predecessors. I think he has done the absolute best he can/is allowed to.

Too many Van Morrison fans on this thread.

He has not only done the best he could with the hand he was dealt but with great dignity in the face of all the usual Stormont shenanigans.

This

A humble decent man who has tried his best under current circumstances, wish there was more of him in local office
