Haven't been abroad for 2 years now and have some free time coming up at the end of the month & also fancied winter sun.

Anyone been away somewhere around this time of year for 2-4 days for a bit of late sun? Is it only really tenerife that's viable?

Thoughts/experiences welcome

Just heard earlier that Tenerife have kinda tight restrictions.

It would be 23degrees or so there, You may get the same on the Greek islands. Or Southern Italy.

Must stop writing, Im jealous!

Cheers rub! Will only have a few days so weighing up whether or not it's worth it based on potential options and what other people who have been say.

Can stay localish but wouldnt mind a bit of heat now

Not a good user name for this thread but info checks out !

Was it decent out there? Standard Spanish Island holiday vibe?

Worth it for 2/3 nights or would you need to go for a week to make it worth while?

Daytime temps grand bit like our heatwave temps here, good atmosphere in bars at night, taxis cheap, my preference would be go for a week ,2 or 3 days would be a waste of money (just my opinion) each to their own of how long they want to go away for. Irish pubs best craic although drink a bit dearer

Yea I had feared timeline maybe an issue.

Have been to South or Spain, Portugal and Eastern Europe for long weekends tho so was hoping it wasn't a hell of a lot different!

Been to Salou a few times mid to late October but most places close up end of October so one of the Canary Islands probably your best bet i'd say

Wasnt sure if they would be that warm at this time of year, like mid teens no?

Been to Madrid in late Sept and think it was barely 20 altho obviously a good bit further north.

Malaga seems like a quiet enough spot, local uni town isn't it
