I'm not sure if this is an interesting fact or a scary fact but The Rolling Stones are a UK band that haven't had a UK Top 10 hit since 1981.

40 years without a top 10 hit in their home Country and still considered one of the greatest bands ever.

How many bands playing now will be around in 40 years time ? ..the reason they didn't have a hit in that time was simply because they didn't release any..but their catelogue of songs is just phenomenal

You'd wonder what bands will still be around in 20 years to play live

A huge amount of bands nearly at the end of their touring days

Look at ABBA coming back as holograms

The Prodigy were so unique. Making Charlie , out of space , no good and others into commercial hits is really impressive

Only naming bands I’ve personally seen.

1. Daft Punk. (hear me out, Oxygen 07 was a mind blowing performance). Wasn’t even a fan at the time.

2. Foo Fighters. Self explanatory really.

3. Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Awesome gig.

4. The Who. Don’t be fooled, they rock.

5. Muse. Incredible light show to the music

NEWTOWNABBEY

I've never been fan of slowish/ballad type music but 'radiohead' must take the prize for the best non rocknroll band ever. There maybe garage, house, techno etc but a new genre should be opened up for radiohead, pure shit, its called 'mogodone' music!

Paul Weller

Suppose Springsteen for a classic rock inclusion.

5 is harsh. I’ll stretch the rules a little.

Peter Doherty(including The Libertines, Babyshambles)

Radiohead as they cover so many genres.

The Clash or should I stay or go with the Kinks.

Nirvana.

Taylor Swift, not my usual cup of tea but I liked the two albums she made in lockdown, being a musician myself I appreciate talent & the craft.

If I could pick another 5 to expand & fill in some colour then

Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs

Nilufer Yanya

The Hundred in the hands

LTJ Bukem

Amy Winehouse

Best Album of 2021

Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend
