This question is just asked in way of a little research.

How to fellow fabbers view the none reply to even the politest of messages.

Is it rude...

Is it acceptable without question..

How do you feel about not receiving a reply when the recipient of your message has not even looked at your profile?

Ok go... jump down my throat now..

Acceptable without question and just because you don’t see them viewing your profile, doesn’t mean they haven’t. Many of us are on ninja mode

Being completely honest... if someone replied no thanks would you send another reply?

Many many do. Often not very nice replies

An unsolicited message is the equivalent of junk mail. If it piques my interest, I’ll engage, if it doesn’t I’m not going to reply to it to say thanks for sending me a message I never asked for

Somewhere in Co. Down

Most people do look at a profile before answering a message I look before I even open a message but I do it in stealth mode so they can't see I have. If a profile doesn't appeal to me or has made zero effort quite often I won't reply. Not because I get a load of messages I have my filters tight to keep mail down.I don't answer because I don't want to start communicating with the person. As a no just leads to someone taking it as oh great a reply and think I'll keep chatting which I won't so easier not to answer in the first place. And sometimes I am just too tired to bother answering mail and I don't even look at it when I log on.

It's not rude. I wouldn't expect anyone I send message to reply to me if they do then great if they don't no harm done.

another reason is just dint gave time

Example I got a message during week, logged on for a quick look, read it put it on not read and next time I logged gad a second message giving out that i hadn't replied to the first one.

As for no thanks if a person has messaged a few times and I haven't answered I just block, sorry but either it's a blank profile , the person isn't for me and honestly I'm done trying to be polite

wouldn't you like to know

I dont think there is a right or wrong way, as like with everything, it's in the eye of the beholder.

If I get a decent message, not just hi or something rude or a dick pic, but I'm not interested or which is the case at the moment, I'm already chatting to a few, and I don't want to add to many in the mix, as I know I don't have more time for meets at the moment, I reply by thanking them for the message but I'm chatting to a few already, maybe our paths will cross some other time.

Now that can go in any direction.

I had no further replies

I had abuse

I had blatantly ignoring and just tried to keep chatting

I had lots of lovely replies of guys appreciating an answer

And then I have guys who think that means to text every day to see if i was finally free

And last but not least i had guys saying it was the nicest way to be told to f off....

There is no right or wrong way...

But nobody is entitled to anything, let that be clear.

Interesting reads on this thread. I agree that nobody is entitled to a reply but it is good manners if the initial message is done with respect and manners.

My new approach to this is zero tolerance. If I message someone and I see they read but don't respond in any way then that's an instant block. It works both ways as fat as I am concerned. If someone isn't capable of conversation, I really wouldn't have any interest in them anyway.

I think this will make both me and anyone I block happier in the end.

The only messages I send now are to people I’m actually chatting with. I don’t bother messaging anyone new because 9 times out of 10 you won’t get a reply. On the rare occasion I get a thanks but no thanks I reply thanks for the reply and best wishes. Some men are pure pricks I’m told here and can get abusive which gives us decent lads a bad name too unfortunately.

No one gives anyone else a bad name that's just something people seem to say to make themselves feel better. The only ones abusive people ruin it for is themselves on here. And that goes for men and women.Women can be just as abusive to men without reason on here. And I'm sure even the abusive people see themselves as decent people and will find a reason to justify the abuse they send.

I’m not saying it makes me feel any better saying stuff like that but it’s the same in all walks of life unfortunately. I’d hope that people on here can pick out the pricks from the good people. Oh and yes. It’s not just narrowed to men either. I’m sure that there are women who are just as bad in fact I know some women personally who are c***s

cant say i fully agree with the bad name comment. there is an element of it. for instance. some do not have experience with certain aspects of kink. because they are clueless in the difference between Dominant and domineering. they meet a couple of fools leaving a bad taste in the mouth. then paint the rest of us the same. sure not accepting PM's from unveri'd is a pre judgement in itself. lol...i can think of lots of examples. for the OP. dude all i can say to try this, its also something to do in life in general. come on here expecting nothing from anybody. that way you cant be disappointed. also makes the only direction to go is up.

I had a message out of the blue the other day telling me to put a belt around my neck pinch my nipples and sit in a corner until he instructed me otherwise. That message I did respond to tell him what a dope he was thinking that's a acceptable first message!

i guess a domineering fool one popped up your PMs. i'd love to be able to point out the differences on here. but, thing is. that kinda thing can be picked up and used to manipulate an unexperienced person. i wont aid in the abuse of a submissive.

"This question is just asked in way of a little research.

How to fellow fabbers view the none reply to even the politest of messages.

Is it rude...

Is it acceptable without question..

How do you feel about not receiving a reply when the recipient of your message has not even looked at your profile?

Ok go... jump down my throat now..

"

Personally it doesn't bother me one bit about unread ..unreplied..or straight deleted read messages..if they're interested they'll reply ,if not they do one or all the previous mentioned or even block ,so please , absolutely no point in getting all worked up over a complete stranger on this site that you might never meet not replying , life is way too short for that crap.

I received a message last night from a couple/person on here. They asked how my night was going and where I was from etc. Asked for my number to add to WhatsApp and also friend request too but since then they have completely ghosted me and I’m thinking they have blocked me too. Can’t understand why after going to all the effort. I only answered their questions and wasn’t pushy etc. Sometimes it’s really annoying. I have a good mind to report them.

I’d disagree to a certain extent, all depending on the effort put into the first message. If someone goes to the effort of sending a nice, detailed message then I would think it’s mannerly to reply with a simple no thanks if not interested instead of just blanking someone

I still think it would be courteous to reply. If you then get lots of abuse then block. Sad to think that some people would abuse some people for being rejected

I get asked for my phone number everyday for contract tracing in the real world...not illegal

Also if it is newbies asking for numbers or that is their first mail, always report please as sometimes they are scammers, they may not have blocked you, they may be disabled
