Last time Ireland had a win against the all blacks it came off the back of a long season.. The kiwis were fatigued and the game meant nothing.. Expect a nz win today.. Sexton and Co won't have much hope..

Well they need leaders other than Sexton to stand up.

Kiwis more fatigued this time having played in their bubble for ages. And this is a nothing game to them. Ireland with +9 is a decent punt

It’s not. Depends on where a player decides to live and play for his club as a pro. He can’t play for Leinster and be expected to train with NZ! It works both ways. Many players did NZ have kit been born in NZ. Rugby is not a loss for it so what’s the problem?

I said international rugby is a farce not just Irish international rugby in isolation.

Fair play to you though - you think some journey man player from a strong nation going to live a couple of years abroad and getting to play international rugby over some local guy isn’t a problem.

What you’re asking then should a pro rugby player not play for clubs like Munster Leinster, Toulon? They have to earn a living. It’s not practical to train with their home nation. The only other answer is too stop non born lads playing. I’ve no real issue with that as long as all countries do it. But don’t get too hung up on it, they are wearing the jerseys and I’m happy with that. Too many people hung up with nationalist views from many countries, load of nonsense.

If he doesnt end up with dementia or something of that ilk later in life I'll be surprised.

Constantly battered his whole career and had so many concussion problems

I do have an issue with it. I’d rather watch a team of lads with blood ties to my country than a team where a third of them are from New Zealand and South Africa. Each to their own though

Refs have the opinion of him that he's a whinger, that's before he even kicks a ball.

But the late tackle's are shocking, so blatant.

Hopefully after 3 wins against NZ this Irish team can stop looking at these types of victories as career defining.

Next step for Irish rugby is a decent World Cup performance.

That said great win.

Are you a New Zealander or something? We beat the #1 ranked team in the world today, and made them look ordinary for the bulk of the game. why not enjoy it instead of being a naysayer?

I am Irish and delighted with there performance today and last weekend. We just need to back it up now going forward into the six nations next year and the summer tour to NZ.

Good performance against the be Puma's and a good six nations is all we can ask for. As it stands the brand of rugby they have adapted is looking promising.

Hopefully the province's go well in Europe .

The forward pass when they went in for the disallowed try near the end was a very basic mistake for a player of that level but that's sport.

Just uncharacteristic to see a few handling errors in the space of 10 mins.. they are usually super fluid with passes sticking.
