East / North, Cork

Unfortunately the price of feed is way up and its a very hard business dor a farmer to make money in. They just don't get a fair cut of the selling price either.

Waiting for something to finally snap and it can't be far off

Gas prices almost doubled in 3/4 months

Electric prices are rising

Petrol prices are mental

Food prices are way up

Raw materials are going through the roof and supply is short

People were already struggling during the pandemic and the above is pushing people to economic brink & no doubt bringing stress to alot of households.

What's next?

Next is an interest rate rise to curb inflation.. shortly followed by a rise in mortgage defaults

I've been expecting that to start to trickle through over the last few months to be honest. It's all inevitable and a really grim outlook for alot of people.

Had been thinking once furlough ended things would fall to shit 3-6 months later for a lot of people who weren't kept on and the gig economy but the increased cost of living on top of that is an even bigger hammer blow
