She, erm, didn’t say that though. The UN Secretary General did. He may, in fairness, have been asleep at the time.

I have been reading about the details

Biden claimed the methane pledge could potentially reduce global warming by around 0.2°C, independent analyses suggested the impact would be less than 0.04°C.

Climate Action Tracker reported that current targets for 2030 remain "totally inadequate", putting us on track for a 2.4 °C temperature increase of the Earth system by the end of the century.

But at least there are pledges which if enacted would make a difference

Yeah I think a lot of politicians are balancing reelection and keeping their party in power with the economic hit of rearranging a fossil fuel based economy.

I havent been following any of this and this is a genuine question, what are Amazon doing that is allegedly making them a leading contributor to world pollution?

Most of the packaging i have seen from Amazon is cardboard, therefore recyclable if not already recycled.

Their aircraft fleet is miniscule compared to FedEx and other carriers.
