Afternoon Guys,

Just had my first mince pie of the season, it was mediocre to say the least.

What's you favourite brand/places to buy your mince pies?

Merry Christmas btw

Marks and Spencer's are the best, but even Dunne's do a good one.

But have had some since and homemade is the only way to go

I'm blonde too and believed the same for the longest time...but I'll put it down to being foreign, and mince was always associated with minced meat otherwise it should be called jam pies or some such thing

Newry Down

Every year I make a specific point of buying a couple of boxes of Marks and Spencers mince pies; the most expensive and also the cheapest.

I alternate them; the cheap ones are good with fresh cream, but the dearest are excellent, on their own.

I said the same for years and I also didn't eat them. I had my first one and only one last year and I still can't make up my mind about them.

I might give one a shot then just so I can say I've at least tried!! my friend eats them warm with brandy cream and honestly that looks delicious
