Parties Fri or Sat nite

Do people prefer to have a party on a Fri nite or a sat nite I'm thinking of organising something the weekend before Christmas and just wondering which nite people would prefer my reason for having it on the Fri nite is that at least if you spend all day Sat recovering you still have you Sunday to enjoy where if you have it on a sat you don't just interested to know people's thoughts

Personally saturday because working on fridays means I'm wrecked on Friday nights or your rushing around to get home,showered,changed

I agree with BogM, Fridays are hectic in my job. As for taking a half day, it'd be easier get a weeks holidays.

Just means flashbacks and more vivid on a Monday morning and people are asking did you get up to anything much for the weekend

Work is important but so is downtime.. so for me drinks & fun after a hectic work Friday is a great way to start a weekend.

Now there is an idea never thought of that or could just have one both nites just a very good friend or mine is over for a few days from the 14th Dec and fly back on the Sat so that's why I was initially looking to have it the Fri nite lol

Great idea, if the appt prices don’t ruin it for you. Friday would work for me if it happens.

For us, we always prefer a Saturday night. Less rushing on the Friday to get ready after work.

Everything is more expensive in December… but a perfect party month lol let us know if you end up organising something
