Dublin

Just curious about what people on here like to collect, if anything?

Personally I’ve collected records for years, also have hundreds of restaurant cards, hotel cards and fridge magnets.

I have a good few notches on the bedposts too, but can’t say I keep souvenirs of those ha!

Any unique collections out there?

Picked up a new pint glass at the weekend after a break of many years.

Funnily enough im pretty sure someone had thrown theirs out recently as i saw a load in the flat glass section of the recycling centre, a shattered Breo glass caught my eye

East / North, Cork

1960s metamec clocks.

Mid century ercol furniture.

Old metal tins from gramophone needles, household food, biscuits, sweets, and tea and coffee. I've literally hundreds set up on an old shop counter. Oxo and custard ones are my favourite. Also oil cans. I'm weird.

I actually have a rake of them from when I was younger now that you mention it. Are they worth anything these days?

Joe Duffy from Live line is very keen on fire engines; might be worth contacting.
