Recently invited to a stag in Carrick on Shannon. Been there before and was a great laugh. Interested to hear where others would recommend

Limerick

Kilkenny is great, Cork as well - been on 4 or 5 stags in Cork and always had a great night.

Mate got married in carlingford a few years ago and we went out the next day for the afters.

Place was just full of hens on the Fri & sat night. Only 1 main street and 3/4 bars but it had a great buzz about that and I dont mind that kind of setting for a group night out as in bigger cities the party tends to split anyway and people wonder off

Killarney is usually great for hens and stags. Met 2 different hen parties over the weekend in town. They loved the craic in the town at night time and all different things to do in daytime.

Love Carlngford, but it's a nightmare to get served on the weekend nights.

Sunday afternoons out the back of PJ's are great.

Love Galway and Cork is right up there

Waterford

I was out in Kilkenny only once and had a bad experience. Judging by the posts above we must have been very unlucky

I think Galway us nearly to big and lots of pubs refuse stags, I think hens are regarded as worse!!

Ennis- great town

Westport- bit fussy with groups

Clifden- very quite for stags but nice pubs

Tullamore- grand town for nightlife

Personally I'd go abroad, was on a stag in Galway recently and with COVID restrictions in place it just wasn't the same as pre covid

Belfast

Probably about 25 years since I was at a stag do but I'm in Carlingford on a regular basis and it's always full of zombies from the night before.
