If neither party can host, what's the best option?

In my (admittedly limited) experience, hotels seem to be preferred by fabbers. How cum?

Thoughts?

I think hotel is used as a term that covers all the options. Never had an offer of anything like that except from guys

I prefer a hotel because thats what I'm used to and if I'm working away and staying over anyway its a bonus to have someone over for dinner or drinks and up to the room afterwards

I've never booked an airbnb for anything but I'd imagine its cheaper for a start

It's not necessarily cheaper at all, although you can occasionally hit on a bargain.

Airbnb isn’t bad if you get a decent place. Definitely cheaper too.

Depends on the place and than the person, if was a first meet a hotel be more comfortable as cam have drink in the bar.

If was a regular playmate the air bnb might be more relaxed and more fun.

It can be messy in a hotel if there is group play. Getting past the concierge especially with covid restrictions.

Airb&b for groups.

Hotel for a couple.

For me anyway.

The pub then supermacs ...

It's not that I can't accommodate It's I don't want to have anyone to my home so a hotel is the option for me, I like to have a social drink mabey something to eat and see where the night takes us....Don't think id ever use anything else....

I was thinking this too.

So there's less sneaking around with an Airbnb?

While a hotel has an on-site bar?

Any other pros/cons to either option?

Again no experience but in a hotel...everything is there and ready for use....hot water for shave and shower...toiletries...

towels

In an airbnb do you have these things

Some provide basic toiletries.

Some air bnbs have cameras too so would need to check.

i travel all over

It’s becoming really hard to find good Airbnbs

They do give you the option of a Kitchen which most non apartment hotel rooms don’t

Also a bit more privacy perhaps

With hotels you have the option of a drink in the bar rather than finding a local pub

But either is fine really

From what ive heard at the front door in , keep an eye on numbers, so you book a place for 4 but end up with 8 people there

I can understand that alright....I've heard of at least one profile on here that hires out a room with hidden camera's

I think that’s reasonable

Some hotels have reception staff who don’t care

Some do

Some hotels you can get to the room from the car park

Some you can’t

Some hotels need a key card for the lift

Some don’t

But some Airbnb hosts are nosey so you need to read the reviews

One of the best swinger party houses is less than a mile from us so we can never host or attend a party there, so annoying

Why not? In case you're recognized locally?

Air bnb have everygthing bar a drinks bar. Only thing is u will find it harder to find any apartments in some county's like Kilkenny as the county council have come down and stoped landlords doing it.

wouldn't you like to know

I know of a few Airbnb's which are ideal for meets. Full little cottages in the country side. Or an apartment in a town with anonymous key drop.

All of them cheaper than hotel room, very private. It's like with everything, shop around and read the reviews. Also, if you have the balls, you can ask the owners for day use. Two out of three I asked and they agreed to it and gave reduced rate.

You mean you ask them for use of the place for a few hours during the day - no stay over?

That would be handy alright

Yes, I asked straight out.

Told them that my partner and I never have a quiet minute and looking for a get away...they tend to be quite sympathetic or they so no thank you, but if they say no, there is no harm done.

You forget the option C..."I can accommodate in my van if I take the worktools out"

Someone actually suggested option D the other day when I said I couldn't accommodate. He suggested he fuck me in the turf shed...and they say romance is dead these days

There are loads of day use hotels as well and you don’t need to explain anything to staff

I think essentially they’re there for a bit of how is your father . Can’t see any other reason for their existence

There is one with the door far away from reception which helps seemless transfers in and out enormously

If staying for more than 1 nite, or needing space for more than 2, then air b&b can be cheaper, but beware of their standing charge, cleaning charge all on top of the roomrent...also air b&b can be difficult to cancel at short notice.

A hotel is probably better , use 1 of the "chain hotels like clayton or maldron" all offer cancellation options & a 1 nite charge is o a par with air b&b

In the end it all depends what you are after, where, as in location, you want to stay etc..

Last time I used Airbnb it was a whole cottage in middle of nowhere, full afternoon, reduced rate, and we "used" the big bed, kitchen, and hughe walk in shower...

Also I'm loud, nobody cares, in a hotel I always tend to hold back lol
