But I'd let anyone know politely and clearly that I don't appreciate their attention if I'm not interested. And no means no, regardless of who you are!!! Anything after that constitutes harassment. If necessary I relocate to different area/seating and/or make a complaint to staff if it's an establishment of sorts you are frequenting where this happens... But if they're not understood and you really don't want the attention, then you're better off making it very clear - offence caused or not. Because obviously the attention you're getting is making you uncomfortable. So let that be known and live the life going out dressed all feminine and slutty as you should damn well be allowed to!!! I understand...it's very much the Irish way - subtle hints. I'd be inclined to start with subtle hints. But if they're not understood and you really don't want the attention, then you're better off making it very clear - offence caused or not. I always appreciated the ones that would mail back and say " you're not what I'm looking for" or in person say " not interested thanks"..any bit of a decent human would wish you well and move on.. rejection shouldn't be feared, everyone has a preference..  | |||
