Did anyone every organise a daytime midweek social? If so what type of venue did you use cafe, public bar, hotel bar or maybe rent an air BnB

Just wondering is there an appetite for an afternoon/ evening gathering during the week..

If its only a social a cafe is perfect once its not during lunchtime when they're packed

Airbnb is more for a play meet

Any of the socials arranged so far haven’t suited me but I’m hopeful of attending one at some point soon. It’d be nice to get to know some of the people here.

I'd love to attend a social to meet a few like minded people but can't find one anywhere near me or within sensible driving distance. I'm in Harrow, NW London. Any help appreciated. Thank you x

You might have more luck posting in one of the other forums. There probably won't be many here in the Irish forum arranging socials in your area.

Socials are a case of organise & they will or won't come.

Classy & others has been involved in organising a few & they have been reasonably well attended...although that said it seems to be the ladies that are better at showing up...if you would like a social in your area out a post in the Forums to gauge the interest...sometimes you have to lead.
