Jazz weekend queues

After seeing some seriously lengthy queues outside pubs in town for the jazz weekend, I was wondering, how long would you queue for, to get into a pub you like...

And what's the longest queue you've done.

Me, maybe 20 minutes, no more

Mother of God! It must have been a famous person's funeral or else just a badly organised one.

I have zero patience for queuing. I wouldn't queue for more than maybe 10-15 mins for a pub/restaurant/coffee shop.

The longest I've queued for was around 2 hours at Wembley Stadium when we had standing tickets to see Muse

It was the former and it was good for my career, so my motivation was selfish really

My tiny little mind is going into overdrive here... Was it in Limerick?

I'm fascinated by your answer and want to ask more questions but don't want to "doxx" you at the sane time.

Wouldn't queue at all for a pub, restaurant or shop.

An old work colleagues son who lives in Australia was playing Aussie rules when he first went out there and they were treated like celebs. He was given a pass which allowed him to bypass queues in every nightclub or venue in Melbourne but he refused to use it because he was embarrassed to do so.

Id say my queuing days are over, for long queues. Feck that lol. It was young innocent 20s and 30s in Cork over the weekend. They'll learn...

As for the ones out without a coat and bare shoulders...I was frozen admiring them lol
