Not brave enough yet. Will wait for busy bars for a few more weeks, hopefully the madness will have eased. Daytime pints would be ok.

Galway gone to the dogs with little feral pricks taking over the city centre since lockdown.

Woman hit in the face with a firework a few days ago and a little gurrier waving around a machete nearly as big as himself last night!

Cops need to get the situation in hand. They should park up Garda vans in the city centres every weekend like they do in the Netherlands.

5000 in on Saturday night, they needed certs to get in the door, wear masks when not drinking or dancing

They enjoyed themselves and who can blame them

The last time we had 23,000 in over 2 nights and a couple of hundred Italian both nights all wearing masks and it felt more unsafe then to be honest

What will happen to the figures...who knows but if the health system is getting worse every year despite the record amount being spent every year its not the fault of those out enjoying themselves

They've done everything that was asked of them and they're still following the gov rules

half the issue with covid I can see is no checks to see that people are fully vaccinated and ID been checked. if that was followed to a tee everywhere we probably would be in a better place.

Was out Saturday night, busy but not jammed tight, bar staff definitely earned their money and it was great to hear live music again, ears were still buzzing Sunday evening
